THE EDITOR, Sir:
LET'S SET up a network of support for all the persons who have to give up a part of their lives to care for an ill mother, father, child or relative who is unable to help themselves in anyway.
I know what it is like, not to have any extra hands at home when needed; just dashing from work to home to take care of my mother; moving her single-handedly from bed to recliner, to wheelchair, to patio; reading to her, talking and joking with her with the hope that she is understanding; preparing her meals even when I am hungry and tired; cleaning up again just after cleaning up. I love my mother.
GOD IS WITH US
Despite this, I am getting through beautifully, because God is with us. I know that better days are ahead for both of us. Nothing can ever repay how good she has been to me in the past. I look forward to the nights when she falls asleep on my shoulders. I love my mother.
Link up because I know there are many of you in similar situations. Let us share with each other. God makes all things beautiful in His time.
I am, etc.,
