Fairclough

WAYNE 'KUNTA' Fairclough, one of three coaches on the Arnett Gardens' roster, resigned his post just days after the team's loss to Village on January 9.
Fairclough, who was reunited with the club in July 2004, was responsible for writing reports and tactical analysis after games, said he left the club under good vibes.
"I just decided to take a break for personal reasons," said Fairclough who has been associated with Arnett Gardens as a coach from 1988.
However, Patrick Roberts, president of the club, this week said he could not give any information on Fairclough's departure and referred The Gleaner to vice president Ruben Hanson, who is in charge of the coaching staff.
Hanson, when quizzed about Fairclough's position on Wednes-day, said he hadn't spoken to the coach but added the entire coaching staff was under review almost two weeks after the coach said he resigned.
INSTRUCTIONS
"I will be speaking to each member of the coaching staff to advise them following instructions from the board," said Hanson.
Arnett Gardens, Premier League champions in 2001 and 2002, made some shrewd acquisitions this season in Patrick Beech, Winston Griffiths, Daniel Shaw and Seon Givens but have failed to fire as a unit and missed out on the first end of round final which was won by Harbour View.
They are the early leaders in the second round with six points from three games but the free-flowing style normally associated with Arnett Gardens is not evident and they are not seen as a serious challenger so far.
