THE RED and yellow of Jamaica's good friends from the Iberian Peninsula were on display again on Monday night as Spanish Ambassador Rafael Jover hosted another reception.
This time the occasion was Spain's Constitution Day, which is always celebrated on December 6. Spain's constitution became effective in 1978. Therefore, the best of Spain was on show, especially from the culinary side of things. The steaks were juicy and the coconut shrimp was crunchy. As usual, with a reception held at the palatial Norbrook residence, the spotlights painted a red and yellow haze across the yard.
