How taxpayers' money is wasted
published: Sunday | November 7, 2004

THE EDITOR, Sir:

I WOULD like to bring to your attention how taxpayers' money is wasted on a piece of road in St. Mary in Dr. Neil McGill's constituency. Almost two years ago repair work started on this road that runs from Dry Gully through the districts of Hazard and Derry to Wood Park. The work reached an advanced state of completion and suddenly the work stopped.

Right now the road is in a worse condition than before. The people are suffering. They cannot get transportation to go to doctor, no one wants to put his or her vehicle on the road. Material is everywhere along the road going to waste.

I am. etc.,

I. MCKOY

Hazard District

Montreal, St. Mary
