Keep up the good work
published: Sunday | September 19, 2004

THE EDITOR, Sir

AS A Jamaican in South Florida, I endured the anxiety and stress for my family and friends in Jamaica as we waited for Ivan's arrival and for news of our loved ones after his arrival. Thankfully, we were able to communicate with them for most of the time, so I congratulate Cable & Wireless on doing a wonderful job.

I lived through Gilbert where communication after the hurricane was almost non-existent and no cell phones in those days! Keep up the good work.

I am, etc.,

MARSHA
