Thanks and commendation ...For publishing poem

THE EDITOR, Sir:

THIS LETTER serves to thank you for having taken the time out to read, and subsequently print my poem entitled 'Mother' in May 16, 2004 edition of The Sunday Gleaner. Words cannot adequately express how grateful I am.

I was teary-eyed as I noted the overwhelming joy in my mother's eyes. The poem brought words of cheer and comfort to her, especially as she is bombarded with several of life's perplexities at this time.
