Rally to the call

THE EDITOR, Sir:
ONE OF our Caribbean leaders was recently ousted, Haiti's Jean-Bertrand Aristide.
He sought refuge in an African country. CARICOM heads of Government met. It was decided that in response to Mr. Aristide's request, the Jamaican Government would receive him. No big thing!!
Why should we not rally to the call? Why should we be a party to Caribbean man being exiled far from his native shores? If Mr. Aristide is guilty of poor management, that's no reason for ousting him. Which other CARICOM nation is next?
