ALL THE semi-finalists in the Jamaica National Building Society (JNBS) -sponsored Kingston and St. Andrew Football Association (KSAFA) Super League are now known.

Bull Bay cemented their place in the final four with a 2-1 victory against hosts Barbican. Maverley/ Hughenden also moved forward with a 1-1 tie with Jamaica Defence Force (JDF) at Maverley while Boys' Town and defending champions Santos advanced without kicking a ball.

Boys' Town's game against Olympic Gardens at Cling Cling Oval was not played, as the latter have withdrawn.

At the end of the preliminary round, Bull Bay are on top with 36 points. They are followed by Boys' Town (35), Maverley/Hughenden (34) and Santos (32). Boys' Town and Santos have two rescheduled games in hand.

At Barbican, the home team went into the game needing to win by 14 clear goals to advance but two early strikes from Milton Griffith (10th) and Christopher Wright (15th) knocked the steam out of them. Dwight Warren got Barbican's lone goal late in the second half.

Bull Bay's coach Barrington Gaynor said he wasn't worried about the outcome. "We expected to beat Barbican, we knew we had qualified before this game because they would have to beat us by 14 goals to advance," Gaynor said.

With the semi-finals looming, Gaynor said: "We are definitely going to be competitive".

Gaynor's opposite number, Derick Jordine said it was an impossible task for his team to score 14 goals in order to advance. "That was an uphill task, I don't think we could score many much goals," Jordine, a former Cavalier and Jamaica player said.

"Our average goals per match is three, so we could not do that unless they come and lie down."

In another game played yesterday, Real Mona and Duhaney Park drew 0-0.
