JAMAICA'S MAURICE Wignall posted a new national record 7.51 seconds as he won the 60-metre hurdles at the LBBW International Indoor meeting on Sunday night.
Wignall had Olympic champion Anier Garcia behind him as he won the event and completed a sweep of the sprint hurdles for Jamaica, with the in-form Lacena Golding-Clarke capturing the women's event.
World stars Haile Gebrselassie and Maria Mutola also registered fine wins on the night.

Wignall, the 2002 Common-wealth Games 110-metre hurdles bronze medallist, moved solidly into the number two position in the world this season with his splendid win, which lowered his own national record by 0.01 second.
Chasing Wignall at the finish were Brazilian Redelen Melo Dos Santo (7.60) and Garcia (7.67).
Golding-Clarke, fresh from her win in Stockholm, Sweden on Thursday night, took the women's 60-metre hurdles in a season-best 7.89 to maintain her own number-two spot on the women's list. Behind the Commonwealth champion was France's Nicole Ramalala-nirina (7.89).
Gebrselassie won the 3,000 metres in a world-leading seven minutes 29.34 seconds and Mutola lowered her own 2004 world best 800-metre time with a marvellous win in 1:57.487 seconds.
Britain's Jason Gardener, a hot favourite for 60-metre gold at next month's World Indoor Champion-ship in Budapest, Hungary, won in 6.46 seconds, to equal his own European Record.
Belgium's Kim Gevaert won the women's 60 metres in 7.14 seconds ahead of Natalia Safron-nikova of Belarus in 7.15 seconds.
