THE JAMAICA National Open League netball competition resumed with a full slate of games at the Leila Robinson Courts yesterday.
Residual preliminary round games preceded the 'real' action that saw teams jostling for quarter-final places.
Among yesterday's winners were Holy Childhood, Ebony Strikers, newcomers Magics, Progressive Strikers, New Kingston Raiders, Eden Strikers A, Tivoli A, Arnett Gardens, Seneca A and Jetsetters A.
Holy Childhood and Ebony registered 19-18 victories over Speg C and Alpha B respectively, New Kingston Raiders beat White Horses 16-13, Arnett won 25-14 over Dela Vega while Jetsetters A defeated Police A 22-16.
Big wins were on the cards for Magics who outplayed Rollington Town 28-8, Progressive Strikers routed Leiba Gardens 15-4, Eden Strikers thrashed Duhaney Strikers 35-5 and Tivoli embarrassed Alpha 32-7.
A number of teams also got walkovers to their respective opponents.
UWI Revolutions collected the points over Central Links who did not show, Omega did likewise over Seneca B along with Windalco over Braeton A and Hampshire over Red Challenge.
The results of the qualifying games were not available at press time.
