Honour Motty Perkins and Dawn Ritch

THE EDITOR, Sir:
ONE OF the greatest things of this world is the veneration done to human worth by the hearts of men. Every man is valued in this world as he shows by his or her professional conduct that he wishes to be valued. The reception our observations meet with gives us courage to proceed or dampen our efforts.
With this little reflection I will ask the question. Why weren't Dawn Ritch and Motty Perkins given honours at last "hand-out"? Dawn for inimitable genius to which all and sundry look forward in The Sunday Gleaner whether you adore her or not. And then the master of all talk-show hosts living or dead, Mutty Perkins.
No matter what a man aims, or resolutions, or professions may be, it is by one's deeds that he or she is to be judged.
I am, etc.,
