Homosexuality, abominable sin
published: Saturday | October 25, 2003

THE EDITOR, Sir:

ALLOW ME to have an input in the argument now brewing about buggery (homosexuality) and the law. The vibes is: "If it feels good, just do it for it is all in the genes, for after all we are just like animals, climbing up the evolution ladder to perfection and maybe one day we will be like God." Did I not read in Genesis where the serpent told Eve that she would be like God if she ate the forbidden fruit. Let me ask these theologians: Since when scientific findings supersede the Bible?

If we continue to embrace this abominable sin of homosexuality, soon we may witness a man giving birth to a bouncing baby boy of girl, which will be seen as the final handiwork of God. Then the call will come to remove the statue of the woman in Emancipation Park; and replace it with another giant statue of a man to complement the other.

The irony in this case, is, that those same ministers will retain some text that they can take out of context, twist, bend and squeeze, in order to support their false doctrine. Just listen to how they ridicule the Sabbath Commandment after wiping out the second: and now they are galvanizing support to wipe out the seventh, which deals with carnal sin. Sooner than later all the commandments will be nailed to the cross.

I am, etc.,

SAMUEL GUY
