MR. MICHAEl Lee Chin acquired his education and worked to acquire his fortune in Canada and if he thinks it fit to formally signify his recognition of this fact by a generous donation to that country it is his right.
Why anyone should carp at this gesture of "pay-back" on his part is completely beyond my understanding.
It is perhaps the selfish thinking of some of our people that limits our progress - selfishness after all being one of the seven deadly sins.
I take this opportunity to congratulate Mr. Lee Chin on his business acumen, his generous spirit, his wish to "pay back" to the country which gave him the opportunity for achievement and his wish to bring improvement to his home country.
