Thank you Dr Bartlett
published: Friday | April 4, 2003

THE EDITOR, Sir:

I WOULD like to take this opportunity to thank the Member of Parliament and the other residents in the Stanville community for a job well done.

Over the years this gully has been neglected and was used by some as a dump for building waste, garbage, and other debris. More recently, it has become a health hazard, breeding ground for mosquito and carried the most offensive odour.

Now I can breath a sigh of relief, I can leave my windows open and not worry about the stench and flies.

May I also urge my fellow neighbours to help to keep this gully clear of any debris and to desist from dumping waste in it.

A big thank you to Dr. Bartlett and his team. You are truly a man of your word, sir.

Keep up the good job.

I am, etc.,

MARIA DAWKINS
