Pleased with Omar Davies
published: Friday | April 4, 2003

THE EDITOR, Sir:

I WISH to give a few words of encouragement to my beloved MP Dr. The Hon. Omar Davies in whom I am well pleased. Dr. Davies, you are a good man.

Sir, you have been serving us in our constituency for a long time now and you have proven yourself to be a good representative for us.

You are not an angel, you can make mistakes like anyone else. You didn't think yourself too big to make an apology and that was good. You are a man. Remember Calvary's Cross, the Crucifixion, the crucial thing they did to the best man that walk this earth?

Dr. Davies you are the best Minister of Finance Jamaica has ever had. The Christians, the conscious, the constructive and all who would like to see our blessed country move on to progress will join in praying for you because not all would like to see Jamaica locked down like a sardine tin. The people in your constituency are one hundred per cent behind you. You know why? Is because we love you. You point the youths to trade, education and the good things in life. Your words to them always is peace and love.

May God bless you and your family and all who work with you. God is standing at your side.

Sir, in this time of crisis cheer up, Omar, be of good courage. God will strengthen your heart. You are not alone.

I am, etc.,

C. HALEY

Senior Citizen
