Think first
published: Friday | March 28, 2003

THE EDITOR, Sir:

I HAVE heard talk of boycotting goods and services from the USA I can understand this. If people in the US did in turn the same to Jamaica how would that affect your economy? No tourists, no cruisers, no vacationers to your all-inclusives, no incoming flights to Montego Bay.

How devastating would this be. Where is your bauxite marketed? We can get good domestic sugar from Hawaii.

Please think long and hard before your actions have negative effects to your marginal economy.

I am etc.,
