Traffic lights in Downtown

THE EDITOR, Sir:

I HEAR a lot of talk about the re-development of Downtown Kingston and some action is seen in the clearing of the streets re the vendors, etc., to make Downtown a more business friendly place; but, for the life of me, I cannot understand why the stoplights at North Parade have not been fixed for at least a year now.

I would have thought that this would be one of the basic things to be addressed if we are really serious about restoring Downtown.

As a citizen and someone who works Downtown, and most importantly a pedestrian, I demand that these traffic lights be addressed.
