THE ST. JAGO Shopping Centre branch of the National Commercial Bank (NCB), Jamaica Limited emerged winners of the annual Branch of the Year awards presentation ceremony, held at the Atrium, 32 Trafalgar Road in Kingston, on Wednesday January 29. In second place was the Morant Bay, St. Thomas, branch followed by the 54 King Street, Kingston, branch in third place.

In his address, Group Managing Director of NCB, Aubyn Hill, lauded all the branches for their outstanding efforts. "You are getting better at what you do and in going forward, you will do very well but if you become satisfied with success, you begin to rust. You have to always be dissatisfied with past results," he said.

Presentations were also made to NCB's Special Agencies and in this category, the Black River, St. Elizabeth, Special Agency emerged as the winner. Placing second was the Port Maria, St. Mary, Special Agency and in third place was the Harbour View, St. Andrew Special Agency.

Awards were also presented for customer service and business development, the highest number of credit cards issued and the highest percentage of funds for the period under review. Winners in these categories were: the Red Hills Road branch, Falmouth Special Agency and Newport West branch, respectively.
