Rev David Keane still in hospital
published: Friday | January 3, 2003

PASTOR DAVID Keane, founder and senior pastor of the Family Church on the Rock, Cassava Piece, St. Andrew, remained hospitalised yesterday, and is receiving treatment for a stroke suffered shortly before midnight on December 31.

Church officials said that he collapsed about 11:53 on Tuesday night while ministering to his congregation.

He was taken to the University Hospital of the West Indies where he was admitted.

According to a church official, the church leadership, made up of a board that includes Pastor Keane's wife, Pastor Joy Keane, will assume his responsibilities during his absence.

The church's first services in the new year will be held on Sunday, January 5, at 8 a.m. and 10:30 a.m., as scheduled.
