He gave much to development
published: Friday | January 3, 2003

THE EDITOR, Sir:

THE ST. ELIZABETH Homecoming Foundation Limited regrets the sudden and tragic passing of the Hon. Hector Wynter O.J., a son of St. Elizabeth and an Awardee of the Best of St. Bess Golden Award for diplomacy and education.

His contribution to the nation's development is one that we can justly be proud of.

The late Hon. Hector Wynter maintained his links with St. Elizabeth and was a regular visitor to the parish, where the family home still exists.

The St. Elizabeth Homecoming Foundation is appealing to motorists to make a special effort to drive with much more care to reduce carnage on the road.

The Foundation sends their condolences to Mrs. Diana Wynter his wife and the rest of the family.

I am etc.,

G. GEORGE WATSON
