CASE sets new matriculation standard for Associate Degree holders

THE FACULTY of Science of the College of Agriculture, Science & Education (CASE), through which the college's Bachelor of Technology Degree in Environmental Science is offered, has carried out an assessment of the Council of Community Colleges of Jamaica (CCCJ) Associate Degree in Tourism, Hospitality & Entertainment Management programme and has recommended that graduates with a Grade Point Average (GPA) of at least 2.5 will be granted full matriculation as well as advanced placement into Year 3 of CASE's Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science (Ecotourism Specialisation).

This granting of full matriculation to GPA of at least 2.5 will result in CCCJ graduates completing their BA degree at CASE in two years. Meanwhile, CASE is embarking on an initiative to mobilise all alumna and graduates of JSA, COA and PGTC in the formation of an association.
