Praising our brave civil servants

THE EDITOR, Sir:

I WOULD like to thank everyone who risk their lives to help others in the volatile areas of West Kingston. All those who work in the Kingston Public Hospital, Victoria Jubliee Hospital, Blood Bank and all other surrounding areas, you all have a mountain of courage, and I want you to know that all of you are heroes to this country. Apart from the allowances that you get to work in those volatile areas, I think more should be done to thank you for risking your lives where violence is the order of the day.

I would like to say to all the families who have family members working in volatile area and who fret every day when their loved ones leave for work, continue praying for them. I am asking every single Jamaican to pray for the country and those persons who risk their lives in those volatile areas.

I am, etc.,

JANICE BAILEY
