Adventists, Anglicans and culture

THE EDITOR, Sir:

JUST RECENTLY I read an article written by the clergyman, the Rev. Ernle Gordon, criticising the Seventh-Day Adventist as a North American culture. While I do not share the sentiments of most of the Seventh-Day Adventist doctrine, I must say that if the Seventh-Day Adventist is a culture then the Anglican Church is a European culture.

However, it is one God and the Bible said that the Church's foundation is Jesus Christ.

If the churches are divided among themselves, then they are going to find it hard to win sinners, since we all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. No religion or denomination can save us from the wrath of God. Nobody was born a Christian.

I am, etc.,
