Seaga and Amnesty

Seaga

THE EDITOR, Sir:

I AM not surprised at Mr. Edward Seaga's expression of support for Pierre Sane's threat to wage an international campaign against Jamaica.

I recall very clearly Mr. Seaga's campaign against Jamaica in the late 1970s. This contributed to the division and hostility of the period.

Smelling power once again as a result of the recent victory of the JLP in the North East St. Ann by-elections, Mr. Seaga is again threatening to further rip the country apart by giving his support to Sane's threat.

I call upon my fellow Jamaicans to 'tek sleep and mark death'.

I am, etc.,
