A fine radio programme

THE EDITOR, Sir:

THERE IS a programme on Radio Jamaica hosted by a Dr. Paulette McGregor which belongs to the top drawer.

Although it's hosted at 1 a.m. on a Monday I try to find time to listen as this programme is different.

Sometimes Dr. McGregor has guests like the very popular Charles Hyatt and historian Frank Gordon.

I have learnt so much about Jamaica's rich history which sounds so exciting, it made me feel very proud to be a Jamaican.

The interviews conducted by Dr. McGregor should be commended. If possible Dr. McGregor and RJR should develop an archive on the history of Jamaica.

Let us try and preserve our past. If you don't know your past, it is more difficult to chart the course for the future.

Let the young nation be educated about how the senior citizens had to pay their dues and made sacrifices to build Jamaica. Keep up your excellent work Dr. McGregor. Thanks again RJR You all are really No. 1.

I am, etc.,

DENNIS SINGH
