Gender questions

THE EDITOR, Madam:

MARGINALISATION THOUGH evident seems not to grab the attention of us men (well apart from a few), we would rather die proud than to accept that the women are somehow doing much better in several fields and sectors as we speak.

We would rather die proud than to say the women are beating us to the line. Why? Because we are men and this phenomenon is therefore thought of as a myth and not reality. We use every excuse to justify our sad state in today's society. We ask silly questions like: "Who's the manager, CEO, chairman, executive director or even owner of the business, institution or organisation?"

But the better question should be, "Who will be the director, chairwoman or manager in the next five years?"

I am etc.,
