Award long overdue

THE EDITOR, Madam:

I READ with delight that noted music educator Sydney Morris was among those awarded a Musgrave Medal. It is an award that is long overdue. Thank God he is alive and in good health to appreciate it. My only hope is that he will be around long enough to see his Bronze medal upgraded to Gold.

May God continue to imbue Mr. Morris with his infectious enthusiasm for music, the teaching of music and the teaching of lessons for life.
