CHAMPIONS Tivoli, already assured of a berth in the second round of the Pepsi/Sports Plus Manning Cup competition, host Spanish Town Comprehensive at Railway Oval in one of eight games on today.
Tivoli, leaders of Group A, drubbed Kingston Technical 6-0 in their most recent outing and are expected to maintain their unbeaten run although Spanish Town Comprehensive are no pushovers.
Wolmer's, second in Group A should collect three points from Waterford at Heroes Circle while Kingston Technical should get the better of cellar team Jose Marti in Spanish Town.
Three games are on in Group C.
Arch-rivals Charlie Smith and Trench Town square-off at the Tony Spaulding Sports Complex in a game which could decide which team accompanies Camperdown into the second round.
Camperdown are sitting pretty at the top of the group and will wrap up the preliminary schedule against Ardenne who they drubbed 10-0 in their first encounter.
Bridgeport are expected to get the better of Penwood in the other game played at Bridgeport.
Jamaica College, another second-round qualifier from Group E, should have gotten over their 5-1 drubbing by Kingston College and have few problems disposing of Excelsior at Hope Road.
A rejuvenated Kingston College, still second to JC in Group E, will have things a little tougher against a spirited Ascot team but should collect three points for their efforts.
