  • Customers' Appreciation Day

    TODAY's Track Price Plus annual Customers' Appreciation Day at Tracker's Lounge, 81a Molynes Road, will be highlighted by an all-hole doubles competition which offers a first prize of $10,000. The entry fee is $400 and most of the top players in local skittles are expected to participate in this competition. The action begins at 11:00 a.m.

  • Junior Champs

    Jamaica's top junior cyclist Christian Tavares-Finson will leave the island today for the World Junior Cycling Championships in Milan, Italy. He will be accompanied by National Coach, Peter Aldridge.

  • Campari cricket

    Domtar notched their first win in the Campari Cup cricket super six semi-finals last Sunday when they defeated Carvel United by eight wickets at the Guinness Oval in Central Village. Carvel 118 - Norman Francis 34, Milton Allen 16, Michael Buchanan 13; Eugene Doharty seven for 26. Domtar 119 for two - Barrington Bartley Jr. 43, Errol Hanson 36, Doharty 26 not out; Michael Smith one for 18. The third round of the super six takes place today with Lewin's Hardware vs Domtar at Elletson Road Police ground, Ultimate CC vs defending champions Jamaica United at Kaiser Sports Club and O.S.C. Electrical vs Carvel United at Jamaica Flour Mills. All matches start at 11:00 a.m.

  • Celebrity football

    A combined team of DJs, Singers Masters & Celebrities will face a St. Anns Masters & Celebrities in an exhibition match today at Drax Hall starting at 4:00 p.m. The DJ's and Singers team will include entertainers Spragga Benz, Buju Banton, Admiral Bailey, Power man, Mad Cobra, Red Rat & Goofie, Tony Curtis, Richie Stevens, Lexxus, Elephant Man Beenie Man and Baby Cham. Parish champions Manchester United and Business House champions Trelawny Beach clash in the curtain raiser at 2:00 p.m.
