THE JAMAICA Public Service Company (JPSCo) has teamed up with four private sector bodies for the second phase of its collections incentive programme, Power Pay 14.
The programme, which was launched last Thursday at the Terra Nova Hotel, will provide a range of attractive prizes for residential JPSCo customers who pay their bills in full and on time between July and December 2000.
JPSCo's partners for Power Pay 14 Phase II are: Stewart's Auto Sales Ltd., Air Jamaica Ltd., Appliance Traders Ltd., and Grade Kennedy & Company Ltd. Customers who pay their electricity bills in full and on time will have a chance to win the grand prize of a year 2001 Grand Vitara, courtesy of Stewart's Auto Sales, as well as monthly incentives for first, second, third and fourth prize winners from each parish.
Acting Managing Director of JPSCo, Vernon Lawrence, said the Power Pay 14 programme represents a more customer-friendly approach to collections. "It is aimed at improving our relationship with our customers, at building trust and opening the lines of communication between ourselves and the people we serve," he said.
In their endorsements, co-sponsors Stewart's Auto Sales, Air Jamaica, ATL and Grace Kennedy agreed that the goodwill generated by an incentive programme such as the Power Pay 14, was to be treasured by all parties involved.
Power Pay 14 Phase II is open to all residential JPSCo customers who qualify simply by paying their bills in full on or before the due date. Monthly drawings will take place at the end of each month, starting August 28, 2000. Final monthly drawing and Grand Prize draw will be on December 28, 2000.
