ROSEAU, Dominica (CMC):

Jamaica predictably picked up group honours in Caribbean Football Union (CFU) Women's Under-20 Group A qualifying Sunday, when they mauled home team Dominica 11-1 at Windsor Park Stadium.

Opening match

Jamaica, 5-0 winners over the Turks and Caicos in their opening match on Wednesday, led 4-0 at half-time and netted another seven goals after the break to claim a lopsided victory and maximum six points at the end of the three-team play-offs.

The series is a preliminary qualifier for the CONCACAF Finals and the Federation of International Football Associations Women's U20 World Cup next year.

Other goals

Peashian Thomas, Trudi Carter and Sashana Campbell all hit braces for the Jamaicans, who got their other goals from Vanessa Ramsay, Davia Smith, Tasheka Small, Shushana Dobson and a Dominican own goal.

Overseas-based Kiera Bertrand scored Dominica's only goal early in the second half to avoid the shut-out.
