2. Speaking of pyramid schemes. The popular lawyer who introduced several persons to 'the Man' and 'the Club' has been declared persona non grata in circles where he was once the chief jester. He has not taken the snubbing well, and has even been heard to say that he too has been hurt in the scam.

Wrong move

3.The executive knew that his tenure was uncertain due to a history of activism, but he had one last card to play. He recognised that a close relation of a political rival was in his employ and he decided to serve the employee a sauce. Such a stupid move, for now he is out of a job and the employee has been promoted.

Is it obeah?

4.The mystery illness that has afflicted the lady with the voice is being blamed on obeah. According to those close to her, someone could not take the medicine she was dishing out and decided to put a hex on her. From all reports, the lady is not in a good place at this time.

5.The wife swore the woman was only a family friend and for years she had been ever present at all their gatherings. But the wife's sister kept insisting that something was not right. She didn't understand why this attractive woman did not have a man, yet she seemed to be doing well by herself. As the maxim goes: when in doubt, find out. The two did a little detective work and discovered that the two had been in a relationship for years; the woman was also on the company's payroll. The husband now has a hard time explaining what services were rendered for the salary paid.
