Good move on survey data

This is an open letter to Minister of Industry and Commerce Karl Samuda.
Dear Sir:
I was so elated to see the Consumer Alert Survey in The Gleaner. I could not have allowed this to pass without commenting. I want to commend the Consumer Affairs Commission for compiling the data, which will go a far way in sensitising and stimulating consumers' consciousness so they can influence the competitiveness of the supermarkets in Jamaica.
Thank you, Mr Samuda, for listening to the consumers and coming to our aid by providing this vital tool for consumers to fight the 'price-gougers'.
