Winston Lawson, president of the Manchester Chamber of Commerce, and his team pulled off another successful awards banquet at the Golf View Hotel in Mandeville, on Saturday, December 6.
He was ably assisted by chamber director, Karen Wong, and secretary, Wendy Freckleton, whom he described as the backbones of the chamber. They work tirelessly behind the scenes.
Guest speaker, Glen Christian, who heads Cari-Med Limited, gave food for thought as he shared insights as to how he had successfully steered his company over the years.
Awards were presented for banking and finance, business, catering, hospitality and tourism, community service, education, health, manufacturer, media, security and sports.
