Dear Ms McDaniel,
In Jamaica there is a plant called kola nut or bissy. It forms a gel that will cure eye ailments. This remedy works. If you have any doubts, have one of your medical laboratories do a test, or better yet, ask the researchers at University of the West Indies to check this formula. Tell them to remember me when they make their billions from this formula.

Dear Dr Abel,
As a Caribbean woman, I am in heartfelt agreement with Dr Abel's astute and honest assessment of his homeland.
The inimical forces in Jamaica, just like in other Caribbean islands, appear to be hell bent on self-destruction. The pity is that these criminal-minded Jamaican men seem determined to ravage children and women.
This is no surprise. Such men are at heart sick cowards, and only get to fool themselves that they are bad men by shedding the blood of those who are weaker than themselves.
Looking on at Jamaica, even despite the still fresh regional honour brought to the Caribbean by its great athletes, I can honestly say that I relish the day when international peacekeeping forces intervene in that land of blood and tears.
