Tribute to Kimmy Lindo
published: Tuesday | April 22, 2008

The Editor, Sir:

The Advertising Agency Association of Jamaica and indeed Jamaica's creative industry lost a valuable member on April 12, 2008, when Kimmy Lindo passed.

He was an active and committed member of the AAAJ, who, at the time of his passing, served faithfully on our executive committee. His sudden departure has affected the team in ways few words can recount. His probing inquiries, pointed suggestions and penchant for teamwork - some signature traits - were how he made his invaluable contributions to our team; the absence of which will serve as a reminder of his legacy.

Kimmy Lindo joined the Lindo FCB Team in 1991 as the creative director and later became the managing director. He was the driving force of his team and the dependable leader of his agency. In that capacity he led his team in the implementation of various marketing communication strategies and activities on behalf of their clients, with considerable success. He will be greatly missed by all.

I am, etc.,

Andrew Rousseau,

President, Advertising Agency

Association of Jamaica
