Sector responses - What is your initial reaction to Shaw's Budget presentation?
published: Friday | April 11, 2008

PricewaterhouseCoopers

  • Omar Azan

    President, the Jamaica Manufacturers' Association

It's a good welcome and a good start for us now. We see a little light down the tunnel. For the 10 years I've been at the JMA, it's the first time we've really got something.

  • Norman Grant

    President, the Jamaica Agricultural Society

We welcome the fact that the agriculture budget has been increased by 30 per cent over last year, given the constraints in resources. We think it is a good signal. From where we sit, it is an indication the Government will continue to focus on agriculture.

  • Edward Chin-Mook

President, the Small Businesses Association of Jamaica
