published: Thursday | March 20, 2008

Cornwall College old boys Jerry Chambers (left), president of the Montego Bay chapter, and Joe Perriera, principal of the University of the West Indies, Mona, catch up on the school's developments at the event.

The Cornwall College Old Boys Association's Kingston chapter annual gala dinner was held on Saturday, February 16, at the Mona Visitors' Lodge and Conference Centre, UWI.

The dinner, in honour of four prominent and celebrated old boys, was well attended and started with over 200 past students and their guests meeting and greeting old friends over cocktails.

Four presentations to outstanding Cornwallians were made this year - a Cornwallian-at-large and three distinguished honourees.

Outstanding honourees were Donald Baugh, Cornwallian-at-large, Lester Woolery, OD, JP, distinguished honouree, Steve Bucknor OD, OJ and Dr Kenneth Baugh, deputy prime minister and minister of foreign affairs.
