Bahamian found dead
published: Saturday | October 27, 2007

A Bahamian national is now dead after what appears to have been a drug deal gone sour.

According to police information, the body of a man identified only as 'Beswick' was stumbled upon about 4:00 a.m. yesterday after the St. Thomas police were alerted to explosions in Seaview Drive, Lyssons district, in St. Thomas. The man had been shot multiple times.

On their arrival, the police also found two motor vehicles and detained two persons. The police also seized under 500 pounds of compressed ganja.

This find is the latest in a string of drug hits made by the police this week, during which several thousand pounds of the drug was seized.
