Great work, ministers!
published: Sunday | October 14, 2007

The Editor, Sir:

On Thursday, we had heavy rains that made the bridge at the foot of Jacks Hill impassable. I made a call and within a few minutes, Minister James Robertson and Speaker of the House Delroy Chuck, were on location to see what could be done.

This shows that the new team is serious about getting the job done. Congratulations to you both and while you are in the area, please drive up on Farringdon Drive and see what can be done to fix the craters that will soon make that road impassable.

I also feel that a law should be put in place that when developers are building, they should be held responsible to fix the roads outside their development that was damaged due to the heavy vehicles and construction vehicles traversing the area. I think they should be liable for making sure that the roadway and sidewalks outside their deve-lopment are paved and look new, like their homes inside.

Keep up the good work.

I am, etc.,

PETER SHOUCAIR

Kingston
