DUE to the effects of Hurricane Dean, the Jamaica Cricket Association's (JCA) all-island limited-overs competition scheduled for today has been postponed, for the second consecutive week.Today should have marked the fifth round of the competition with the usual five matches scheduled in two zones.
However, according to JCA COO, Brian Breese, both the fourth and fifth round of matches have been rescheduled.
Breese disclosed that the fourth round, which was postponed from last Saturday, has been rescheduled for Saturday, September 1. The fifth round will now be played on Saturday, September 8.
The fourth-round matches in Group 'A' are Melbourne vs St. Ann (feature) at Melbourne Oval and St. Catherine CC vs Hanover at Port Esquivel.
Group 'B' - Defending cham-pions Kensington vs St. Mary at Kensington Park, Manchester vs Boys' Town at Kirkvine and Kingston & St. Andrew vs Police at Maxfield Park.
The fifth round of matches, postponed from today, are as follows: Group A - St. Ann vs JDF (feature) at St. Ann Bauxite ground and Hanover vs Melbourne at Elgin Town.
Group B - St. Mary vs Police at Gray's Inn, Boys' Town vs Kensington at Collie Smith Drive and Kingston & St. Andrew vs Manchester at Maxfield Park.
