Do you think Christopher Gayle is the right man to captain the West Indies one-day team?

  • DONALD THOMAS - Yes, because he has been around for long time and he is a better captain than Daren Ganga. I think it will help to improve his batting, bowling and fielding.

  • HENRY MCCALLA- Yes, man, every time, because you just have to give him a chance and just what will happen you will never know. I believe that he can be a good captain for us.

  • FELIX HENRY - Yes, because he has theexperience to do it and I don't think that (Daren) Ganga is the right man to captain the team in either one-day or Test match cricket. I think that Gayle will do a good job as long as everybody puts their mind to it and rallies around him.

  • DONOVAN CROSS - Yes, because he is one of the most successful players on the team and he has the experience to do it. I also think that it will improve his batting.

  • HEADLEY TURNER - I believe that he is the right man to captain the West Indies now because he is a disciplined man and he is also one of the best batsmen on the team.

  • CARLENE WARD - No, not at this time, because I don't think that he is experienced enough to handle the job he is one of the more senior players on the team, he is not ready because of his failure for the West Indies in the World Cup.
