New outlets for Jamaican Urban Transport Company (JUTC) Smart Cards

Jamaican Urban Transport Company (JUTC) Smart Card customers can now buy and recharge their cards at eight Jamaica Post outlets throughout the Kingston Metropolitan Area.

Smart Cards make up eight per cent of JUTC revenue and the bus company hopes it will replace all cash transactions on its vehicles, increasing convenience and reducing the risk of robbery.

Smart Card holders, also receive a 10 per cent discount per journey.

Smart Cards are available from 26 locations in the Kingston Metropolitan Area, 20 schools and now the following eight Jamaica Post outlets:

- Central Sorting Office

- Cross Roads Post Office

- General Post Office

- Hagley Park

- Liguanea

- Meadowbridge

- Windward Road

- Gregory Park Office, St. Catherine.
