NO ONE likes traffic right? However, when it comes to the Internet or a website, high traffic is good, yes there is good traffic.
Proper advertising plays an important part of increasing traffic online. One option is advertising on another website that has a high density of frequent, varied and widespread users.
When choosing websites to display your advertisement on, don't just go for one because of the low cost, make sure you are aware of the number of persons who will potentially see your display.
Don't try to save a few dollars and lose a whole lot more from persons who could have visited your site and become a client/ customer.
GRAIN-SIZE CHIP BY HP
A team of Hewlett-Packard Co. researchers has developed a prototype memory chip with wireless networking capabilities called the Memory Spot.
The rice grain-size chip contains 256Kbit to 4Mbit of memory and can transfer data wirelessly at speeds of as much as 10 megabits-per-second, allowing it hold a short video clip, digital pictures or 'dozens of pages' of text, the company said.
The Memory Spot is similar to radio frequency identification chips which are designed to store information that can be read wirelessly. It can be embedded on a sheet of paper or stuck to any surface.
FIXING SOFTWARE FLAW
McAfee Inc., one of the leading computer security companies, fixed a dangerous design flaw months ago in its flagship tech-nology for managing protec-tive software in large organi-sations but did not warn businesses and United States (U.S.) Government agencies until Friday.
The design flaw affects McAfee's 'ePolicy Orchestrator, used for managing security software on tens of thousands of computers across large organisa-tions. The antivirus software is used by more than one-third of corporations in the U.S. and Europe. Spokesperson for McAfee, Siobhan MacDermott, said there were no reports of victims.
