CHILEAN PRESIDENT Michelle Bachelet will arrive in Jamaica
next Friday at the Norman Manley International Airport to begin a working visit.
The President, who will be accompanied by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Alejandro Foxley, and senior Government officials, will depart in the afternoon for Haiti.
A high point of the visit will be a private meeting between President Bachelet and Prime Minister Portia Simpson Miller at Jamaica House.
Both leaders will thereafter join a meeting between the delegations of both countries. The two heads of government share the distinction of being the first female leaders of their countries.
