COLDWELL BANKER'S fifth anniversary celebration, last Friday, officially started about an hour and fifteen minutes late. However, the party was already in full swing.
The venue was company owner/broker, Andrew Issa's residence in Jacks Hill, St. Andrew. Chatter floated in the air, wine flowed freely, a variety of food aromas blended with herbs and spices swirled across the venue.
The celebration was officially started with prayer and Mr. Issa said the celebration was necessary as Coldwell Banker had been strengthened since its inception. "Only the Lord has been able to bring us these terrific figures," he said.
Coldwell Banker's Island Affiliates managing director, Jim Reed, was also present. He lauded Andrew Issa and his staff for a flagship performance of Coldwell Banker Jamaica. "I'm very proud to say that five years ago we made a wonderful decision ... as Andrew has done a terrific job with this company," Mr. Reed said.
Mr. Reed expressed a desire to see continued growth and competitiveness in the field. "I wish I could clone Andrew and move him to all the islands," he said.
Mr. Issa disclosed that Coldwell Banker Jamaica would be developing Golden Eye, Jamaica's prime resort in Oraccabessa, St. Mary. "I'm here to say that St. Mary will no longer be the poorest parish in Jamaica," said Mr. Issa.
Guests included politicians and realtors.
Lorraine Fung catered her usual excellent array of foods.
