'St Bess' to get youth info centre
published: Friday | May 12, 2006

Michael McLean, Gleaner Writer

BLACK RIVER, St. Elizabeth:

STATE MINISTER in the Ministry of Science and Tech-nology, Senator Kern Spencer, says that within the next three months a youth information centre would be ready to assist some 20,000 young persons in St. Elizabeth.

He said young people from the parish will benefit greatly from a state-of-the-art facility, which will be located in Santa Cruz where the community centre is at present located.

Senator Spencer, who is also caretaker for North East St. Elizabeth, made the announcement while bringing greetings at a function to welcome Governor-General, Professor Kenneth Hall, to Black River.
