A Pile of experience for Delta

DELTA AIRLINES, the United States' third largest carrier commences weekly service to Kingston as at June 1.

Heading up Delta's operation here and in the region is Richard A. Pile. Mr. Pile joins Delta Airlines with 20 years experience in the airline and travel industry. Richard moved through the ranks in the regional operations of two other airlines and also did a stint as general manager for Great Vacations Ca Ltd.

Apart from the operations in Jamaica, Mr. Pile will have responsibility for Grand Cayman and The Bahamas.

Supporting him is is Kimberly Dobson, who has held positions at MME Tours (a travel agency), Hertz Car Rentals and Hedonism III. She also had a tour of duty as office manager of Tourmarks Unlimited.

Delta currently flies to Montego Bay. On June 1, 2006, Delta will make its inaugural service to Kingston from Atlanta.

Delta Airlines is one of the world's fastest growing international carriers with more than 50 new international routes added or announced in the last year.

Delta offers daily flights to 452 destinations in 94 countries on Delta, Song, Delta Shuttle, the Delta Connection carriers and its worldwide partners.

In summer 2006, Delta plans to offer customers more destinations and departures between the U.S., Europe, India and Israel than any global airline. Delta will allow customers to check in for flights, print boarding passes and check flight status on line at delta.co.
