GLORY TO Gloriana, which features the talents of some of the crème-de-la-crème of Jamaican theatre, premiered last week at the stately Carib 5 and Palace Multiplex, Montego Bay, on Monday and Thursday, respectively. The cast, assembled by renowned producer and director Lennie Little-White, includes Carol Campbell, Rodney Campbell, Kerry-Ann Lewis, Briana Harris, Winston 'Bello' Bell, Marguerite Newland, Teddy Price, Leonie Forbes and dancehall sensation, CéCile Charlton. Screenplay was written by Raye Addison and director of photography was Ray Smith.

Based on a true story, the movie traces the life journey of Gloria Minto from a poor little country girl to a successful businesswoman and hotelier, who still creates her own horizons.

Gloria's childhood entry into the workforce provided the mettle which prepared her for a life of struggle and eventual success on her own terms. Her undying love for Milton Minto could not shield her from the pain of spousal abuse, which Gloria suffered all throughout their relationship.
