THE NATIONAL Council on Technical and Vocational Education and Training (NCTVET) is to sign an agreement with the Early Childhood Commission (ECC) today.
The Memorandum of Understanding is to recognise the need for the training and development of a competent and certified workforce to sustain quality training products and services of the early childhood sector.
The document is to be signed by Paulette Dunn-Smith, senior director of the NCTVET, and Dr. Maureen Samms-Vaughn, executive director of the ECC.
The agreement is expected to set the stage for the establishment and maintenance of educational and training quality, as well as quality focused services provided by professionals within Jamaica's early childhood sector.
